How should I choose head guard sizes for a team?

Choosing the right sizes for a whole squad can feel tricky, but we’ve simplified the process. Storelli Head Guards come in sizes 1–6 (with 1 being the smallest and 6 the largest), and we provide a recommended distribution so you don’t need to measure every player individually.

Option 1: Measure Players Individually

  • Use a flexible tape measure.

  • Wrap it around the head, just above the eyebrows and ears (where the Head Guard will sit).

  • Match the measurement to the size chart in the Size Guide on the product page.

Option 2: Use Our Suggested Team Distribution

Most coaches don’t know exact player sizes in advance, so we created a proven distribution pattern based on team orders.

Recommended breakdown:

  • Size 2 → 10%

  • Size 3 → 25%

  • Size 4 → 30%

  • Size 5 → 25%

  • Size 6 → 10%

Example: For an order of 20 players, we suggest:

  • Size 2 → 2 units

  • Size 3 → 5 units

  • Size 4 → 6 units

  • Size 5 → 5 units

  • Size 6 → 2 units

Exchanges Are Free

If a player ends up needing a different size, don’t worry — exchanges are free in the U.S., Canada, Germany, France, and the Netherlands. This makes it easy to swap out sizes after the initial order.

Tip: If you’re placing a team order, start a chat with us and share your roster size and timing. We’ll confirm your discount eligibility and help finalize the order.
