How do I find the right size for my gear?

Getting the right fit is important for both comfort and performance. Every product page on Storelli.com includes a Size Guide button to help you choose correctly. How the Size Guide Works When you click Size Guide, a pop-up will appear with two tabs: - Fit Finder: Enter your most important measurements (like chest and waist) to get a recommended size based on your input. - Size Guide: Review the detailed chart of product measurements to compare directly with your body measurements. Tips for Sizing - Measure, don’t guess: Sizes can vary across brands. Always measure yourself (or your player) and compare with the chart. - Headgear: Measure head circumference just above the eyebrows and ears. - Apparel (sliders, jerseys, baselayers): Use chest, waist, and hip measurements. - Gloves: Measure around the widest part of your palm (excluding the thumb). - Between sizes? For compression gear or head protection, a snugger fit is usually preferred for performance. Bundles Because bundles combine different product types (for example, gloves + apparel), they typically do not include a single size guide. We strongly recommend checking the individual product pages for each item in the bundle to confirm sizing before placing your order. If It Doesn’t Fit - We offer free exchanges in the U.S., Canada, Germany, France, and the Netherlands. - Customers in other countries can return their gear and place a new order. If you choose store credit, we’ll add a bonus to help offset return costs. Tip: Try your gear on indoors first to confirm fit before training or playing in it. Once used in play, items cannot be returned.

How do I wash or care for my Storelli gear?

Proper care helps your gear last longer, maintain its protective qualities, and stay game-ready all season. General Gear Care (Apparel, Sliders, Leggings, Headgear) Washing Best Practices - Machine Wash Warm with mild detergent only. - No bleach, softeners, or harsh chemicals — they break down padding and coatings. - Turn inside out before washing to protect logos and reduce surface wear. - Mesh laundry bags are recommended for padded gear (goalkeeper leggings, impact sliders, arm guards). Drying - Tumble dry low heat or air dry. - Never use high heat (dryer, radiator, or direct sun) — this damages elastic fibers and padding. - Remove promptly from dryer to keep compression intact. Storage - Always dry completely before storing. - Store in a breathable bag in a cool, dry place. - Keep gear separate from dirty cleats/socks. - Add silica gel packs to your bag to absorb moisture. Usage Tips - Rotate gear if you train daily to reduce wear. - Ensure proper fit — too tight strains stitching; too loose reduces protection. - Rinse mud/sweat after play to extend life. - Replace gear when padding flattens or elastic feels loose. 👉 For the full breakdown, see our Gear Maintenance Guide. Goalkeeper Glove Care Before First Use - Pre-wash in warm water (no soap), then air dry. - Or use GloveGlu Wash & Prepare for best results. - Remove any protective film from latex before play. Before Each Game - Dampen palms under warm water 2 hours before kickoff to activate grip. - Keep palms moist (not soaked) — wrap in a towel in your bag until game time. During the Game - Use GloveGlu spray on palms if extra stickiness is needed. After Each Use - Rinse gloves in warm water as soon as possible. - Hand-wash only — never use a washing machine, scrubbers, or harsh detergents. - Air dry naturally, away from heat or direct sunlight. - Do not leave gloves in your bag — latex can dry out and crack. Storage - Store in a cool, slightly moist environment. - Avoid leaving gloves too wet (mold risk) or too dry (latex becomes brittle). - Don’t store palms pressed together — they may stick and tear. Durability Tip - Avoid pushing yourself up with open palms on turf; use your fists instead to reduce latex abrasion. - Expect normal latex wear after first use — that’s part of how soft latex delivers grip. 👉 See our full Glove Care Guide. Why Proper Care Matters - Extended lifespan: Gear lasts longer with proper washing, drying, and storage. - Consistent protection: Padding, compression, and latex grip perform as designed. - Better comfort: Elasticity, breathability, and fit are preserved. 👉 Need help with care? How do I clean goalkeeper gloves properly?

Proper glove care is essential to extend the life of the latex and maintain grip. Here’s how to do it right: Before First Use - Pre-wash your gloves in warm water (max 86°F / 30°C) without soap, or with GloveGlu Wash & Prepare. - Let them air dry naturally, away from heat and direct sunlight. - If your gloves come with a protective film, remove it after pre-washing (see our full glove guide for tips). After Each Use 1. Rinse Immediately - Wash your gloves as soon as possible after playing. - Use warm water (max 86°F / 30°C). 2. Hand-Wash Only - Wash with your hands — never use a washing machine, scrubber, or harsh detergent. - Gently squeeze water through the latex (don’t wring them out). 3. Dry Naturally - Pat with a towel to remove excess water. - Leave to air dry in a cool, shaded place. - Never dry with heat (dryer, radiator, hair dryer, or direct sunlight). Storage Tips - Always wash before storing. - Store gloves in a cool, slightly moist environment. - Avoid keeping them too wet (bacteria/mold risk) or too dry (latex becomes brittle). - Do not store with palms pressed together — they can stick and tear. Durability Tips - Expect normal latex wear even after the first use — it’s part of how soft latex provides grip. - On turf or dry surfaces, latex will wear faster. - Use your fists, not open palms, to push yourself up off the ground to reduce abrasion. 👉 For the full care guide, see our Glove Maintenance Tips.
